IMPORTANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

By booking with Bugis Backpackers, I have read and hereby agree irrevocably to abide with the following conditions:

1. I understand that the hostel DOES NOT HAVE A 24-HOUR reception. Last and latest check-in time at the hostel is 9 pm, and the hostel and reception is closed after this time. Reservations are only honoured till 9 pm; and late arrivals after this time will not be admitted and considered NO-SHOWS, and the hostel reserves the right to release the reserved room to walk-in demands. I agree to pay any applicable cancellation charges, regardless of any circumstances or reasons I might have. I fully understand that the hostel will not be liable to me in any way for my late arrival(s) or inability to check-in after 9 pm. [Please allow for possible delays before making your booking. Estimated travel time from airport to hostel is 1 hour.] 2. Check-in time starts from 2 pm – I agree to arrive only after 2 pm when the reception is open to deposit my luggage – I understand that early occupancy of room is strictly subject to availability.
3. I and/or my members are at least 18 years old and I/we hold a valid foreign passport(s) with tourist visas. I understand that CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE ACCOMPANIED. I and/or my companions confirm that we are not Singapore citizens, holders of Permanent Residence, Work Permit or Employment Pass.
4. I understand that the single, twin/double, triple and quad private rooms are strictly for 1, 2, 3 and 4 persons' occupancy per room respectively – I agree that I will be charged extra for any additional person(s) at their prevailing rates. I agree that my reservation will be considered invalid and cancelled should I bring along additional persons or attempt to add any extra person(s) into the rooms.
5. I agree to settle the balance of amount due in full upon check-in by cash payment, and full payment is not conditional upon viewing of rooms before check-in.
6. To avoid penalty of one night room charges, I shall cancel by writing through email at bugisbackpackers@gmail.com, at least 72 hours prior to date of arrival, by latest 00:00 Singapore Time. An email acknowledgement will be sent to me should my email reaches Bugis Backpackers before this deadline. Example: Email by latest 00:00 Singapore Time on 26 Oct for cancelling reservation on 29 Oct, regardless of estimated check-in time given.
7. I understand that the hostel has a maximum stay of 7 nights. Back-to-back extension, whether booked through myself or another name, is not accepted and the reservation will be considered invalid by the hostel.
